Hope Against Cancer is a committed Leicestershire and Rutland based charity who are committed to providing funding for cancer research projects and supporting clinical trials.

The charity is run by a very small team of staff and volunteers who help to support the charity and to fundraise. At Simple Will we were touched by the enthusiasm and dedication of the staff and volunteers who work tirelessly for the cause – a cause which is close to our hearts here at Simple Will. It is this passion that prompted us to sign up as a business supporter and commit to fundraising throughout the year, so why not join us in supporting Hope Against Cancer?

If you would like to discuss making a donation or leaving a gift please contact our team today on telephone number 0800 3800098 or email info@simple-will.co.uk

Did you know that each time you make a Will with us we will donate £50 to Hope Against Cancer which will help fund a Hope Nurse for a day.

“Over 2.5 million people in the UK are living with or are affected by cancer and by 2030 it will have increased to 4 million. Beating this disease is something that my team and I are passionate about as cancer affects nearly every family in some way which is why are proud to support Hope Against Cancer.”  Phil Izzard, Managing Director at Simple Will.

Words of Hope

I feel fortunate to have been offered trial chemotherapy treatment for my lung cancer at the Hope Facility – it is so clean and bright, well equipped and a comfortable space. It is staffed by the most dedicated nurses and support staff. I feel sure I am receiving exemplary care. It is morale boosting to be able to share experiences with others who are undergoing trial treatments. The Hope Facility is instrumental in bringing research and development direct to the patient and I am grateful to receive it. From a Hope patient

Getting a Cancer diagnosis is devastating and while we have made great strides in therapy, outcomes can still be improved. This can only be achieved by developing new treatments, which require clinical studies.  Hope allows us to deliver research with excellence, and it is by doing this that we will continue to improve outcomes for patients.  Anne Thomas – Professor of Cancer Therapeutics, Leicester Cancer Research Centre.
